Rosy Cervantes y La Sana Rabia will appear Thursday, August 2 12:00-1:00pm for Union Summer. This acoustic show is with a special line-up, featuring:

…with Rosy and Richard Fouchaux on nylon sting guitars. Rosy will sing a broad repertoire including her original songs, Mexican and Latin American folk and pop music.
moreCuban percussionist extraordinaire Reimundo Sosa will join Rosy and Richard November 18 to open for Mexican superstars El TRI at the Alliance Banquet Hall. El Tri is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City fronted by Alex Lora, a spinoff of Three Souls in My Mind, formed in 1968. The group is regarded as influential in the development of Mexican rock music, and this is their first appearance in Toronto.

This year’s fundraiser for the Summer 2017 session of Singing For Love will take place Saturday April 8 at Supermarket Restaurant and Bar, 268 Augusta Avenue, in the heart of Kensington Market.
Singing For Love offers the opportunity for young survivors of domestic violence to be heard, to tell their own stories in their own words, and to use music to find and grow their strength. Proceeds go to transportation and nutrition for the kids, and to supplement curricular resources.

moreIt was standing room only—and very little of that—at Ciro’s on Bloor St. Friday night for La Sana Rabia’s official video release party. The crowd enjoyed an energetic first set, capped by a hot live rendition of “El Inmigrante,” before watching the new video directed by Jeronimo Casas and Rodolfo Peña.
But the celebration of talent and artistry didn’t stop there… filmmaker Jeronimo Casas then premiered his short film, Canciones, starring Rosy and Luis Rojas.
